I was humbled by the request from one of the top public health agencies in the world to go to Puerto Rico in November and December of 2016 to work on the Zika virus outbreak. While there, those of us working made sure to take time off and practice self-care. We visited the island’s many beautiful places, like its beaches and tranquil water. The people there are so welcoming. If you ever have a chance to visit, grab your mosquito repellent and go. You won’t be disappointed.
This couple was celebrating their recent marriage. They were highschool sweethearts and had not seen each other until recently. So they decided to get married and were celebrating next to this lighthouse.
