I was driving home as a snow storm was starting last spring. As the snow began to get heavier, I drove by a field and saw that I could see the buildings on the other side with the snow coming down. I wondered if I could use a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the snow and make the buildings come out. When I processed this in Lightroom, I noticed that it looked really interesting if I upped the contrast and the de-hazing. The snow looks like ash, and the landscape looks apocalyptic.
